Christian holiday celebrated on the first Sunday of January also called Kings Day. We traditionally eat a king's cake.
The "galette des rois" is traditionally eaten on the first Sunday after January 1st. The custom is to hide a bean in the cake; the person who gets the bean becomes the king or queen of the day and will get the crown.
